CMCEC founded in 1985, being a comprehensive large-scale foreign trade enterprise,on the basis of the Bureau of Complete Equipment Administration of the Ministry of Machinery approved by the former State Economic and Trade Committee, and is now one of the members of the China National Machinery Industry Corporation controlled by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. We have witnessed the course of development.
Before 1996,we mainly engaged in domestic infrastructure and technological transformation of key state projects in mechanical and electrical equipment. As a "representative of the general demand-side", CMCEC is responsible for providing complete sets of equipment and organization management for key project of departments of the national economy.
After 1996 in order to meet the requirements of the socialist market economy, the company take the "one industry-based, diversified economy, rooted in domestic and open up in foreign markets " approach to business, highlighted technical services and on-site services, and tried to opening up domestic and foreign trade business during this period as the focus. In 1996 our company got the right to mange in forein trade, and foreign trade revenue accounted for 50% of total income. By all employees' efforts in 1998, we have the right of overseas project contracting and labor service, which has shown a good momentum of development in foreign trade.
In 2000 we obtained the right to import and export agent. Company was in accordance with the "economic efficiency as the center, strengthening complete equipment, expanding foreign trade, seizing the domestic and international markets, increasing revenue, and greatly reducing the costs, their flat and striving for surplus on balance sheet, ensuring that state-owned assets increase value" approach to business, focused on domestic equipment, the international engineering contracting and trade, hi-tech industries and transformation of traditional industries and military defense,four fields speeding up the development of the companys operating.

In August 2005, China National Machinery Industry Corporation decided that CMCEC and China North Industrial Equipment Co.,Ltd to settle on restructuring. Our company redefined the strategic positioning and development objectives, taking national defense, domestic and foreign project contracting and trade, urban infrastructure and real estate development as the main business focus. According to the actual needs, we carried out the adjustment of the internal organizational structure, amended and improved the internal management system, strengthened the general management, which laid the foundation for further development and growth of the company. At present, the company has created a strong market development and competitiveness. we have made general contracting projects in Southeast Asia, Africa, South America as well as trade in Europe and North America and taken elevated market share. The development of the company's 2008-2010 strategies plan have been well implemented.
