CMCEC with military background is the state-holding enterprises. Since the establishment, we provide equipment and technical services for the military and defense industry companies, is responsible for the dual task of the modernization of national defense and national economy. According to the policy of the country's construction and industrial policies, we have implemented the theory of "military and civilian linked up, peacetime and wartime combined, military product priority, general product to raise people's army" in order to ensure national key construction projects for military purposes. Under the support from ministries of State Counsel, provinces and municipalities, the defense department in charge of the military industry, with the collaboration of the relevant institutes and manufacturing enterprises ,we make great efforts to cooperate and work hard for all types of conventional weapons, tanks, armored vehicles, aircraft manufacturing, airport, military port construction, the atomic bomb, hydrogen bomb, nuclear submarine ,strategic missiles, underground missile, test satellite, a geostationary communication satellites and Shenzhou spacecraft into space, such as national defense industry, military infrastructure and technological transformation projects of scientific research, design and manufacturing. In 50 years to complete 2661 large and medium-sized projects of military defense industry, 189 local projects and 205 defense mobilization projects were delivered.Whether in conventional weapons or leading-edge strategical weapons, we provided a lot of special equipment and facilities products to ensure the key construction projects of military defense completed and put into production as planned and efficient, which made a significant contribution.
